EVALUASI PROGRAM KINGDOM TRAINING DI LAPAS KELAS 1 CIPINANG JAKARTA TIMUR
Main Article Content
Abstract
This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Kingdom Training Program implemented at the Class 1 Cipinang Correctional Facility, East Jakarta, using the CIPP evaluation model (Context, Input, Process, Product) developed by Stufflebeam. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, semi-structured interviews with eleven purposively selected informants, and document analysis. The context evaluation shows that the program has clear and measurable goals that are aligned with the vision of the correctional institution and relevant to the participants’ needs. The input evaluation indicates that human resources, funding, training materials, and institutional support are in good condition, although challenges remain, such as the limited number of facilitators and minimal technology. The process evaluation shows that interactive training methods such as group discussions, simulations, and hands-on practice effectively increase participant engagement. The product evaluation reveals significant improvement in the spiritual, character, and social contribution aspects of participants, including repentance, involvement in ministry, and behavioral transformation. This study recommends strengthening facilitators, extending training duration, utilizing technology, and developing a more structured evaluation system to enhance the program’s impact. Kingdom Training has thus proven effective in shaping individuals who are spiritually and socially better, while contributing to the social reintegration process of inmates.
