Penerapan Hermeneutika Di GBI ROCK Jabodetabek

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe: 1) The understanding among satellite leaders about hermeneutics in GBI ROCK Jabodetabek; 2) the understanding among satellite leaders regarding the qualifications for an interpreter of the Bible in GBI ROCK Jabodetabek; 3) the understanding among satellite leaders about the tools for hermeneutics in GBI ROCK Jabodetabek; 4) to know how satellite leaders apply the general methods of hermeneutics in GBI ROCK Jabodetabek. This research will be done in the qualitative method. The object of this research is the Application of Hermeneutics in GBI ROCK Jabodetabek. The data will be collected using observation method, documentation, and an online interview with eight satellite leaders in GBI ROCK Jabodetabek. The data is analyzed using the data condensation method, data display, and conclusion drawing/ verification. The validity tests used are the credibility test and data dependability test. Results of this research show that respondents, which are the satellite leaders, have understood the method of hermeneutics. Satellite leaders are also qualified as an interpreter of the bible. However, not all satellite leaders have the proper interpreting tools, therefore their interpretation does not achieve the maximum capacity. And within the application of the general hermeneutics method, not every satellite leader can do a complete hermeneutics analysis.
