PENERAPAN PEMBAPAAN DALAM PELAYANAN PRIA SEJATI DI AREA JAKARTA

Abstract

Spiritual fathering in men’s ministry is a primary need in the process of transforming a man, and the transformation of a man is the key to the transformation of the family, the church, society, the nation, and even the world. The purpose of this research is to determine the understanding of the Area Responsible Persons (PJA) regarding: (1) the definition of spiritual fathering in the Pria Sejati (Christian Men’s Network) ministry in the Jakarta Area; (2) the principles of spiritual fathering in the Pria Sejati ministry in the Jakarta Area; and (3) the implementation of spiritual fathering by the PJA in the Jakarta Area. This research is descriptive qualitative research, and the resource persons are the Area Responsible Persons (PJA). The method used is the census method, and because the data obtained is the result of data collection from the entire population, the data obtained shows the actual conditions (true value). Data was collected through semi-structured interviews and analyzed using the stages of condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The research results show that the Area Responsible Persons in Jakarta already understand the meaning of spiritual fathering in men’s ministry in the Jakarta area, while regarding the principles and the implementation of fathering, in general the Area Responsible Persons already understand these two points, but there is still room for improvement and steps that must be taken so that the spiritual fathering of true men can be maximized and become a blessing for many people.
