Abstract
This study focuses on the specific use of the term Kingdom in Matthew's Gospel. There are two main reasons researchers chose this topic. First, Matthew is the book that links the Old and New Testaments, so this discussion of the Kingdom in the first Gospel is very important. Second, the concept of the kingdom is featured prominently in Matthew's Gospel; for in fact, that is the central theme of the book. To achieve this study, researchers used literary methods or literature reviews with descriptive and analytical approaches. The results of this study found that the Kingdom of God is the government of God who has entered this age through the presence of Jesus and will be perfect in His reign at the time of His second coming in the future.
