Abstract
The self-awareness of parents, churches and adolescents in the Javanese Christian Church (GKJ) Purwokerto to instill responsibility for Family Christian Religious Education and the use of information technology in efforts to shape the character of adolescents is still weak and needs to be improved. Based on the background of the problems mentioned above, the purpose of this study is first, to determine the effect of instilling responsibility for family Christian religious education on the formation of the character of adolescents, second, to determine the effect of using information technology on the character of adolescents, third, to find out how much the effect of instilling responsibility for Family Christian Religious Education and the use of information technology on the character of adolescents This study uses the Positivist Paradigm, Quantitative design. Based on data processing, the following research results are known: First, variable X1 (Instilling responsibility for family Christian religious education) has an effect of 78.2% on variable Y (Development of the character of adolescents at GKJ Purwokerto); Second, the effect of variable X2 (Utilization of Information technology) on variable Y Â (Development of the character of adolescents at GKJ Purwokerto) is 84.5%; Third, the effect of variables X1 (inculcating responsibility for family Christian religious education) and X2 (Utilization of information technology) which are presented simultaneously on variable Y (The formation of the character of adolescents at GKJ Purwokerto) is 66.737%
